 SinusLeistungsSteller - SLS Development/2013

In this section we provide frequently news on development and progress ...
Details about the SLS are found   here (click...)

... We wish all a happy new year 2014! ...

23.12.2013:
For the new industrial versions  cSLSi  SLSi and  EBSi the mounting dimensions have been settled. The installation drawing can be found in the respective category.
Furthermore a improved  Sollwertgeber SG2 (see image) fully potted with max. operating voltage of 85Vdc (=20S LiPo) is available now ...

20.11.2013:
We congratulate the e-volo team for the successful maiden flight of the VC200-Velocopter! .... for the video click here

... 18  cSLS-60-100 as well as 18  EBS-60-240 where used.

29.08.2013:
The  electronic battery switch EBS is now available as an industrial version.
Some readers noticed the recently introduced (14.08.2013) SLS (industrial version) carries the nameplate SLS-60-300... Correct! With the industrial version comes the 300Aac-SLS!

14.08.2013:
From the industry more and more requests for a more robust version of our controllers came in. Because of that we revised the cSLS and SLS and are able to provide the idustrial version. A optimal thermal interface of the semiconductors (at the SLS also with built-in water cooling option) and robust M8-screws for the connection cables (SLS) characterize this controller.
The controller weight increases a little, because of the aluminum pot (cSLS: 370g, SLS: 1.150g incl. water cooling as shown in the image!), this can be compensated through no longer needed (or smaller) extern heatsinks. The  electronic battery switch EBS will be available soon in a industrial version, too.

14.05.2013:
We are official development partner of the e-volo GmbH. The first flight of the VC200 with 2 passengers is announced for autumn 2013!

19.04.2013:
The first small edition of the  electronic battery switch EBS is now available in 3 versions (basic/poti/3-level-switch) and ready for delivery. Please ask for the delivery time before ordering, because only a few devices are available now.

18.04.2013:
In the  download-area a new version of the SLS-Windows-Monitor is ready for download. This version can now be used under Windows-7 and is also available in english.
The firmware has a new update - control dynamics and operating safety are further improved for extreme operating points. This also includes a slight improvement in efficiency.

21.03.2013:
The water cooling system works very well! As in the image below, the trace data shows that the temperature of the MOSFETs increased only to 42°C at a motor current of 150Aac. Next we will think about introducing water cooling to our DC-source, because the source went in to current limit at about 100sec. due to overtemperature. (The DC-source was pre-heated by previous testing...)

03.03.2013:
From now on, we can offer suitable water-cooling heatsink for the  SLS . Optional with fast-plug connectors for a PA-hose with 6mm or 8mm outer diameter. The compact cSLS will get appropriate heatsinks soon.

14.01.2013:
The first prototypes of the  electronic battery switch EBS will be sent within this week to selected customers for Beta-Testing. There the EBSs will show their capabilities for the everyday use. The bi-directional version could not be tested intensively. We will provide more information as soon as possible...
The previously announced firmware add-on for a AC-current profile delays a bit, because we want to implement more functions, that are needed for some applications ...

07.01.2013:
... Once more a new year beginns! We wish all a healthy and successful 2013!
