Softstart:


The SLS assures a safe motor start for usage that requires low torque. A well set up system is also needed. Furthermore all relevant parameters must be calibrated and system matched in order to start the motor.

The SLS operates without position sensors (hallsensors, resolver) and therefore can not determine the absolute location of the rotor. So, the RPM/torque control, functions stable over a predefined minimum rotation speed.
